Throughout life we all experience unexpected changes, societal pressures and relationship stressors that leave us questioning where to turn next. Taking the step to allow yourself the space to navigate these stressors requires courage and strength. My goal is to create an environment that is welcoming, safe and non-judgmental. I value the trust and mutual respect I build with my clients and use it as the foundation to have a successful therapy experience. Through this strong foundation and your commitment to the process, I hope to work together on exploring your fears, hopes and goals for change.

About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. I am also a Nationally
Certified Counselor, certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. I received my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and my BA in Psychology from Mercy College.

I take a holistic and eclectic approach in my work with clients. I strongly believe that therapy is not a “one size fits all” model and I work to pull from a variety of different treatment modalities to best fit your needs. It is my core belief that growth and change is possible at any stage in life and I am dedicated to identifying your natural strengths to achieve your goals.

I have worked closely with those struggling with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression and severe and persistent mental illness. I have a special interest in working with those struggling with the pressure, burnout and the challenges that accompany with being a high-achiever. As we all navigate through life, we tend to identify ourselves with the role we take at that current moment, “child, student, athlete, mother, sibling, etc.”. I am passionate about working with problems related to establishing one’s identity as we move through lifes stages and the challenges associated with being a student-athlete. These two areas often intertwine, causing a person to question “who” they are outside of their job, relationship, sport or current role in life. I bring with me my own experiences in playing Division II college softball and hope we can work together on exploring ways to make meaningful change in your life.
