"Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything.  Maybe it’s about unbecoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place”

Sometimes we’re faced with really difficult life circumstances.  Sometimes we may be in need of significant healing from our past that is affecting our present.  Sometimes we may just need someone to help us process some complicated emotions. Other times we may need assistance in cultivating greater self-awareness and self-compassion and all of the time having someone to accompany us on that journey makes it a lot more manageable.

I hold a firm foundational perspective that wholeness and optimal health is every human’s birthright.  I utilize a trauma-informed approach to my psychotherapy work and create safety through empathy, compassion, laughter, and unconditional positive regard within my therapeutic relationship with clients.  I have a passion for helping people to disrupt maladaptive patterns that may be impeding their evolution.  Utilizing a lens focused on how our social and cultural constructs and our familial structures affect and inform our relationship with ourselves, others, and the world, I compassionately assist clients in integrating the more challenging aspects of their life experiences, thus helping them to remove the obstacles that may impede their sense of overall well-being and life satisfaction.
