The goals we set for ourselves are usually intended to help us feel fulfilled and successful in life. Often times this passion for change and achievement comes with immense stress, leading us to question where we are going and why we started this journey in the first place. Through allowing yourself the time and space to challenge these thoughts and stressors your currently harbor, a clearer understanding of who you are and what is most important will take shape. I value the special rapport that is created between my clients and myself and use it as the foundation to process and be vulnerable. I will hold space for you to grow while adding guidance and education to help you navigate challenging times.

About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor, certified by the National Board Certified Counselors.  I obtained my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and my BS in Applied Psychology from SUNY Farmingdale State College.

I have worked closely with those who experienced anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relational issues and substance use. The populations I have served range from adolescents, teens, adults, and couples. I have an interest working with high-achieving individuals, struggling with perfectionism and anxiety related stressors, those in life transitions as well as those struggling with relationship issues. I also have an unique interest for those in the first responder community including but not limited to: police officers, firefighters, nurses, EMS and family members directly impacted by these careers.

Allowing yourself to be vulnerable can be difficult when the expectations to perform and deliver are constantly reminded. Through a safe and non-judgmental environment, you will be able to gain autonomy over life and better emotional wellness with effective coping, communication and relationship skills.
