Intro

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light” - Albus Dumbledore

The body and mind are resilient entities. However, they may often need emotional, physical, or spiritual attention. Above all, we always need a tender ear to listen. Everyone has a story to tell. My primary focus is to cultivate a safe and warm environment where I can help you find your voice. Together, we can tackle the past, present, and future. The order doesn’t matter. What is most important is the fact that you have taken the courageous first step toward self-improvement.Through this collaborative effort, we will hone in on what you specifically need. Therefore, you can count on your mental health journey truly being a unique experience, as each aspect is tailored to your personal needs and goals. I hope to be a part of the next chapter you choose to write in your story.

About Me

I am a clinical psychotherapist. I earned my master’s degree (MS) in clinical mental health counseling, and my bachelor’s degree (BA) in criminal justice, at Long Island University. My style of counseling reflects a person-centered approach. Through this modality, I aim to understand an individual’s presenting concerns and goals. As a result, I am able to work collaboratively with individuals in an empathetic, holistic, and flexible manner, to help ensure that they receive personalized care. Additionally, I may often employ different modalities that include, but are not limited to, the humanistic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy to help ensure that each person’s unique needs are met.
